"Do you think you could get me some more, please?"

R. has been a faithful friend and supporter for the past 6 years. He recently came to visit us and as he doesn't participate in any church, he comes to us for his spiritual input and feeding.

After telling him about the AIP competition and the push the young people in the family are making to get out subscriptions to Activated, (he has already completed his subscription for the first year.) he told us he'd like to re-subscribe… and maybe subscribe a couple of his friends too.

"Could you get some subscription cards for me to fill out for my friends?" he asks us. So, we go and get him a good stack of maybe 13 or 14 cards "Might as well give him a lot, by faith." We say to ourselves, and hand them to him with a big grin. A little while passes and we watch with bated breath as the stack slowly diminishes. "Do you think you could get me some more, please?" He asks us again. By this time Esther is about to burst. "Sure… I think we could do that." replies Anim, with all the calmness she can muster. Another stack!

In the end R. ended up filling out a grand total of 20 subscriptions in one sitting! Thank the Lord! He sure knows how to encourage us, as we've been pushing a lot in the past months but haven't had such tremendous results. I guess we'll see what happens next month…
