One Step Closer

The Conectate’ competition for me has meant a step-up in follow-up through the mail. Since I hardly speak a word of Spanish, my method of getting points from the start has been through getting subscriptions through the mail. I have been writing people (friends, and relatives) whom the Lord has shown me would be ready for the magazine. One relative in particular, my cousin, Heather, has been the latest person (as far as subscriptions through the mail) to subscribe. It was really inspiring for me because she has steadily been growing closer to us and the Family. It’s really exciting to see the little steps that she has been taking. When we were getting ready to come to Mexico from Japan 7 months ago, and we were trying to get the funds for our tickets, she gladly helped us with a donation. And even before that she wrote us and asked us if we could send her some Christian children’s material as she took care of some kids from her church. So her subscribing now has been one more step closer to us. Another thing that has been inspiring for me as far as getting people Activated through the mail has been that, a couple of friends and relatives have not only subscribed, but they have also given us a donation! It has really boosted my faith when seeing the Lord’s promises coming to pass regarding Activated.
