While we were on our way out of the office of a woman who'd just subscribed, we bumped into a man who we knew from a while ago but whom we thought no longer worked there. We told him about the competition and he told us to come back and he would consider subscribing. Well… we did! In fact we had to go back 4 or 5 times to finally catch this guy, it was quite a run around, as the place is across the city and we don't have a vehicle available for our use so our means of getting around is by foot and provisioning taxis. Not to mention having to get by an obnoxious security guard who insisted on making us fill out forms each and every time we went to try to see the man!
Anyway, it sure took a lot of endurance and perseverance on our part, but we kept trying, refusing to give up. We found that this is what's been hardest for us as far as subscribing people, we have to have lots of patience in going back numerous times in order to get one subscription.
In the end, in reward for all our efforts, the man not only subscribed but also got saved, is now our new swimming pool contact, and we've started giving him classes, PTL! We learned it does pay to follow up on people! We also found out later what a miracle it was that we were even able to get in the place at all as it's a government facility and we were told by another home that other family members have tried to get in there before but were unable to because of how strict their policies are.
It sure was inspiring to see how the Lord can use anyone- even us!
