We realized how thankful we we are to be able to go out witnessing...

It’s amazing the different kinds of people you get the chance to meet while out witnessing. It’s so inspiring when you find some one who is really interested in what you’re doing and is hungry for what you have to offer. Speaking of hunger, that is how we met a very sweet man while out witnessing with the Conectate mags.

We had been out for about two hours already, and things weren’t going too good. It was already late afternoon and by this time you could hear our stomachs growling. We decided to stop in at this one restaurant, which stood out from the rest, because of its extremely bright colors and very neat and clean appearance. After shooting up a quick prayer, we walked in and asked to speak to the manager. A waitress pointed over to the corner where a man was standing. We walked over and introduced our selves and explained what we had been doing that day and why we we’re there.

The man, whose name was Raul, was more then happy to help us and took care of us as if we were royalty. After we had finished our meal we asked Raul if he would like to sit and talk with us. He gladly took the chance to sit and relax for a few minutes. He was very open with us and explained to us all about the problems he was having with his business and how the restaurant line of work was really not his profession, but that he was actually a merchant. He had started the restaurant business because he wanted to do something different, and also because it allowed him to be near his family. Because his business wasn’t doing so well, he had been under a lot of stress but he said that the Lord had given him the grace to keep on. He was very interested in the Conectate mag and promised to subscribe. He also offered to make us more Conectate shirts and was very interested in coming over to our bible classes. By the end of our conversation he had prayed with us to receive Jesus. We all left the restaurant very inspired and full to our stomachs.

We realized how thankful we were for the chance to be able to go out witnessing, because it gave us the opportunity to give what we have so much of to someone who really needed it. We love you all!
